oh.my.goodness!!!!! i am soooo sore! on monday i started a 3 week summer intensive ballet program... 11:30-5:30 every day, including saturdays, most of the day on pointe... ouch! i dont even need to go into detail... do i?????????? hahaha!

wow! its been a longgggg time since ive had time to blog!!!! sorry about that!!!! ive been soooo busy getting ready for my dance recital thats on wednesday.... ahhhh! so, im dorothy in the wizard of oz for dance! we are doing little sections of a bunch of broadway plays, and wizard of oz is one of them. its pretty fun!!! school is finally out, and i am finally a 9th grader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wahooooo!!!!!!!

so, i had 2 dance competitions this weekend, and my solo took first place at both of them!!!! yayyyy! i got a huge crown and a huge trophy from both of them!!!! yayyy!!!!! so, jen called last night, and she's pregnant!!! not by very much, but still! I'm gonna be an aunt for the second time!!!!!!!yipeeee!!!!

hi everyone! I'm back from Utah. "Millie" was AWESOME!!!!! It was nothing like the movie, though!!!!! so I was thinking at 2 in the morning on the way home last night, and I decided that I am out of good books to read. I only have 1 left of the Sisterhood of the traveling pants trilogy, and I have to read TTYL, and then I have until august till The inheritance trilogy book 2 come out. sooo.... I need books! Can someone pleae send me a list of good books, PLEASE!!!!!!! thanks a bunch! well, I'm gonna go try to solve world hunger, starting with myself! I'm starving! hahaha!

(isnt it delectable!) hahaha! i love that song! thats the theme song from millie. we are seeing the tomorrow! i cant believe it!!!!! wahoooo!!!! I'm ust here at jens apartment chillin. I got a new Relient k cd today. actually, it isnt new, but i got it today. it is called "anatomy of the tongue in cheeck" ( random, I know! thats why I love 'em so much!) I found out today that it is a really good thing the lead singer, matthew theissen, grew his hair out and un bleached it, cuz he is really freaky looking with it short and bleached!!!!!! hahahha! any whoo... today we shopped, and i got more love spell lotion from Victorias Secret. it smells so yummy!!!!!!!!! then i got a really cute levi skirt on sale at ann taylor. it was a fun day!!!!!!

hey! i just got bac kfrom the SUB (student union building) with...Sid,Kristin, Taylor, Katie, Rachael, olivia, becca, and a bunch of other ppl. we had a half day today, so we walked down after school. it was way fun. anywhoo... yeah. thouroghly modern millie is TOMORROW!!!!! i am psyched! (or psycho!!!)

hahaha! I know, Its actually spelled mousse! I made it last night, and it was really good! Sorry, I dont have any pics of it, but if I did, I wouldnt know how to put them on here! Hahaha! I know, I'm technologically challenged! any whoo... yeah, I made chocolate mousse and little mousse cups out of white chocolate. They werent very pretty, but hey, it was my first time trying! I finally adjusted to my braces, although they are still really annoying!!!!! Mom, Kim, Jen, and I are going to "Thouroughly Modern Millie" on Friday! ( I know, I spelled that wrong!!!) I'm really excited! we have a half day of school on thursday, so me and my friends , Sid and Maren, wanna get everyone to go to the sub after school! we can walk there from our school, so... yeah! that would be fun! well, I have piano in 1/2 an hour, so I gotta go practice! ttyl!

ugh! my mouth is in so much pain right now!!!! I had to get braces for the 3rd time, because a couple of my teeth moved back. I'm so mad!!!! I just got them on today, and they are torture!!!!!!!

ok... where did I leave off last night? oh, yeah, DC!
after DC we went to Gettysburg, PA. We went on a ghost tour, and it was kinda scary! We could hear singing coming from this one place that the only civillian killed in the battle was buried. It was scary! Then we did a tour of the battle fields the next day. That same day we left for NY! We got there at night, went to eat, the we went to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum! It was a blast!
The next day we shopped, saw Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, and went 2 "Wicked" It was AMAZING!!!!!!
The next day we saw more of NY and shopped more, then we left for Lexington and Concord. We stopped there for a little while, then went on to Boston. I LOVED BOSTON!!!!! I'm gonna go there to college now someday! We spent about 1 1/2 days there. We saw Boston and shopped, then we left for home. It was such a great trip!!!! We were excited to go home, but we didnt want to leave!

well, I thought I might tell you a little bit more about my trip, since I'm really bored!

Saturday, March 26th
2:00 AM- wake up
3 am board bus for SLC
6: 45 am: board flight for Atlanta, Geogia, met this really cool kid named grant who was sitting next to me, and his friends, Paige and John-Michael. They are all from Jackson, Mississippi, and very cool and cute ( especially Paige! she was such a sweetie!!!!!)
around noon-ish- arrive in DC, spend 3 days there seeing the monuments, smithsonian, ETC.

It's late, soo I'll tell about the rest of the days later!!!

hi everyone! AHT was amazing!!!!! I loved it soooo much! we went to "Wicked" on broadway, it was awesome! we also went to DC, boston, Lexington, Concord, Gettysburg, Sturbridge, and NY. Yes, I no, I'm obsessed!!!!! Me and my friend Jantzen had it down to hours, minutes, and seconds in geography, he is such a funny kid. I love him! So, I wasnt able to go on choir tour today, because the doc told me I shouldnt go to school for a couple of days. He said to rest up before my trip. ONLY 2 DAYS TILL WE LEAVE!!!!! I CANT WAIT! I am going to have sooooo much fun!!!!!! I wont have internet on the trip, so I probably wont post anything till I get back next sunday. Luvs!!! *~TTYL~*

Well, down to about 3 days till my trip... and I'm sick, for the 2nd time this month. UGH!!!!! I'm hoping I'll get over it by Saturday!
This week has been pretty boring so far. It's spirit week at school. Yesterday was sport day, I wore my dance clothes. Today was Blast from the past day, and I had the perfect outfit, but then I got sick, so I'm not there. I hope I'll be able to go tomorrow, because we have elementary choir tour. The boys and girls select choirs are touring around and singing at the elementary schools. We are singing this really fun "Girls Rock" song. It's a medly of Avril Lavigne, Norah Jones, and Sheryl Crowe songs. I love it!!!!! When I get a pic of us singing it, I'll try to post it, if I can figure out how!

Hi! I'm Shanda! I'm 13 years old, and I love to dance! My sister, Kimi, my mom, my other sister, Jenni, and I, all love to stamp and scrapbook.
Only 5 more days till I go on American Heritage Tour!!! We are going to Washington DC, NY,NY, Gettysburg, and other icons of American history in the East. I am going with some people from my school, including my 4 of my best friends, Maren, Katie (who I'm rooming with) Jenessa, and Rachael. It is gonna be SO MUCH FUN!!!
